TEEN SUPPORT GROUP
The TEEN support group meets only the
FIRST Tuesday of the month.
The Value of TEEN Support Groups
Support groups provide the kind of sharing and caring that is crucial for a lifetime of wellness. Support groups:
- Give you the opportunity to reach out to others and benefit from those who have “been there.”
- Help you understand that a mood disorder does not define who you are.
- Provide a forum for mutual acceptance, understanding and self-discovery.
TEEN Support Group is a self-help, peer-to-peer support group run by and for TEENS with depression or bipolar disorder. We provide a safe, supportive, and confidential setting in which TEEN members can freely share their hopes and disappointments, their successes and setbacks.
We are not heath care professionals , nor a crisis center. We can and will provide information about crisis services to those in need. We do not advocate a particular treatment plan.
